A HIGH Court judge yesterday refused to extend the deadline set for gipsies to quit an illegal camp between two picturesque villages.
The 20 families, who were ordered off the site by April this year, applied to Mr Justice Tugendhat for an extension that would allow them to stay until after the result of a planning appeal next September. But the judge said that there had already been one planning inquiry after the families camped on land that they own between the villages of Bredon and Eckington, in Worcester, were issued with enforcement notices by Wychavon District Council.See the full content of this document
