Summary
I'DJUST like to say thanks to the people of Liverpool for the great day out we had in the 5th round FA Cup tie (andnot because of the result).I grew up in the '70s and '80s, with the dominant club during that time being Liverpool,of course. So the trip to Anfield was for me like a trip to Mecca.
What a great stadium and the You'll Never Walk alone song at the start -wow! Having just seen the Hillsborough memorial with both Pompey and Liverpool scarves and tributes laid side-byside,it would have made anyone have a lump in their throat. Humbling stuff !See the full content of this document
