RE: THE letter, entitled No Harm Done, in the Daily Post (Decem- ber 13), the writer appears to justify the action of a father who, if reports are to be believed, smacked a three-year-old child so hard it lifted him off the ground and shocked some of the witnesses to tears.

The thought springs to mind that this was the action of a bad tempered person.
