Summary
I HAD the pleasure of attending the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on November 22 to see a play about the most decorated soldier in the First World War, Captain Noel Chavasse VC and Bar, MC, presented by the Dingle Community Theatre.
I must congratulate the author, Alan Bower, for bringing to the attention of the Liverpool public the magnificent significance made by this man and his colleagues from the Liverpool Scottish Regiment in the First World War. The play has everything: humour, pathos and sadness and is perfectly acted by Community Theatre. The story is based on the events from 1914 to August 4,1917, and the bravery shown by this man.See the full content of this document
