Summary
EX-TORY Councillor Leah Fraser misrepresents my views when she implies that I support referenda on almost every issue (Letters, November 23). I do not. They are appropriate when constitutional issues are being decided.
My point is simply that many people will be suspicious of the Conservative Party's claims to be the champions of local govern- ment given their record when they last held office. They are also committed to huge cuts in funding the very services provided by local councils.See the full content of this document
