Summary
AFTER reading about the reprimand the Vicar of Aberdaron received from the Archbishop of Wales for blessing a marriage between two lesbians I remembered what happened, when in ignorance, years ago, I refused to officiate at a marriage because the groom was divorced.
The Rural Dean explained that according to the law of the land the couple who came to see me could marry, so, they had every right for the ceremony to be held in their Parish church. Does not the same apply to lesbians? If not, many a couple are 'living in sin' in Anglesey and their children 'born out of wedlock'!See the full content of this document
