IT WOULD be easy for me,as Cabinet Member responsible for Finance, to seek to score political points over Coun Dave Smithson's comments ab out the proposals made last week for Knowsley Council's budget ( Letters, Febru - ary 23).
However,I do not intend to do so.Instead,I'll remind Coun Smithson that our budg et proposals will see an extra pounds 48m spent on improving services for people living in our borough. And we would still have the lowest council tax bills on Merseyside.See the full content of this document
