Summary
MY FAVOURITE music of the year has all come from Merseyside musicians. Back in February, the Pale Fountains played to a packed house at the Carling Academy on their 25th anniversary and it was wonderful. Next up was the Last Shadow Puppets gig, at the Philharmonic, which featured Wirral musician Miles Kane.
Then there was Echo and the Bunnymen playing their Ocean Rain album at the Echo Arena, which was also memorable, not to mention great gigs from Shack's John Head at the Zanzibar and Ian McNabb's book launch.See the full content of this document
