Summary
AS YOU are asking the opinions of readers regarding the routing of Line Two of the light railway, which is to take a considerable slice off Botanic Park or the walled gardens, in my opinion such an idea should not even be considered. It is about time Liverpool stopped following the ways and ideas of other places; the so-called trams are too unwieldy for the streets of this city.
If it is so important to have tramcars, then put them back on the rails that lay under the tarmac and use vehicles suitable to negotiate the city streets.See the full content of this document
