ONCE again Tony Blair's government arrogantly ignores the wishes of the British people -even though the series of public debates on GM crops last summer which the government themselves instigate concluded with a resounding "No!"
They are allowing the opening of Pandora's GM box in Britain despite the fact that there is absolutely no need for these high- tech crops (except of course to swell the profits of Monsanto etc), and despite the fact that there has been no comprehensive,long term testing of their effects on human health and the environment,and despite the fact that there are no guarantees that the bio-tech industry will be held liable for any future damage which may result from the growing of their seeds.See the full content of this document
