Summary
IN REPLY to Rosalind McArt's letter about the ferry ride in the 1920s. When I was a child, I'm in my 80s now, we as children were taken by ferry to Eastham Woods for treats by the church.
We were from different parts of Liverpool. We set off from the Pier Head on the ferry which was decorated with lots of little flags. We sailed up the river.
