HOW sad it was to read about the plight of Mr William Morris of Llanyrchymedd, Anglesey who has become another victim of the dreaded MRSA (Daily Post, Nov 5) In addition to installing alcohol gel at patients' beds for disinfection purposes, I am sure that hospital authorities everywhere are taking further measures to reduce outbreaks of the scourge.
However I would like to know what action is being taken to prevent patients from leaving their wards in order to smoke their cigarettes and generally gossip outside the hospital entrance at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd -- often taking with them their ''drip feeds" and related attachments.See the full content of this document
