Summary
IF WE have not got much money to spend in the summer, then we should not be wasting it on old-timers. We need young athletes if we are going to progress. A pacy striker should be a top priority.
This has been a disappointing season. I expected us to push on from last year's success and buy a few quality players. Arteta, Valente and van der Meyde (not proven but hopefully as good as he was) were useful acquistions, but there should have been more. I'd like to see Andy Johnson at Goodison, but if we bought him there would be no money left in the kitty.See the full content of this document
