IT IS incredible to see teacher Gillian Gibbons - she of the teddy bear row - talking about her plans to go and work as a teacher out in China. I really would have thought this woman would have had her fill of trying to do good abroad, after the way she was treated in Sudan.
But I can't help feel it would be even better if she stayed in this country and took up a teaching post and showed all those who joined the profession because they couldn't think of anything else to do, but have more interest in their pay cheques than the future education of our children, what teaching is really all about.See the full content of this document
