Summary
I REFER to Peter Elson's column of March 8 in which he stated there were few Liverpool authors in the 19thcentury. This reminded me of William Edwards Tirebuck, who wrote many books and poems. He resigned as Deputy Editor of the Yorkshire Post so he could devote his time to writing.
