RE:MEMORIES in Letters column (April 23) regarding Robert Sangster.
With all due respect to the writer of the letter,Robert mar-ried Christine in Penrith (I think) in May,1960. Some 10 years later than stated. I had the privilege of knowing Robert and his parents in the mid- 40s. They were all very kind and generous not only to me, but also to my late mother. Even in those days,Robert had a sense of mischievousness and impishness, which he retained throughout his wonderful and varied life, which brought so much enjoyment and pleasure to many,many people.See the full content of this document
