I PRESUME that the "socially responsible law" to which JH Jones of Tynygongl refers (Letters, December 11) is the Homeless Persons (Priority Need) (Wales) Order 2001, as updated in 2002.
As he correctly mentions, this places a duty on local authorities in Wales to give housing priority to various categories of homeless people, whether they were previously resident in the county concerned or not.See the full content of this document
