THEY may not have been their match on the pitch in recent seasons,but Liverpool were the equal of Arsenal as second biggest Premiership revenue earners in 2002-03.

The duo both had an income of pounds 104mduring that season with Manchester United the top earners on pounds 175m, says a football finance report by Deloitte's sports business group.
