A NETHERTON man who viciously attacked his partner, leaving her with a fractured skull and brain damage, was yesterday jailed for five and a half years.
Liverpool Crown Court heard Mathew Wilson attacked Christine Gentry at their home in Sentinel Way and then rang 999 claiming she had fallen downstairs. Paramedics found her staggering around outside with her head and shoulders covered in blood.
