STRIKER Neville Thompson marked his home debut with a late strike to maintain Caersws' winning start to the season while sentencing Haverfordwest to their first defeat.

With little to choose between the sides, the former Shrewsbury reserve-teamer pounced nine minutes from time when steering home a low cross from substitute Andy Marfell after Graham Evans' 25-yard pile driver had been parried by keeper Lee Kendall.
