METROPOLITAN Police commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe appealed for information about the murder of an officer on the 20th anniversary of his death.

The former Merseyside police chief spoke at a memorial service for Detective Constable Jim Morrison, who was killed by a thief outside the Indian High Commission, in central London, in December, 1991. The case has never been solved.
