SILVERSTONE'S owners are refusing to budge over their offer for the British Grand Prix and are relying on the racing teams to put pressure on Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone when they meet today.

The British Racing Drivers' Club, who own the Northamptonshire circuit, held a lengthy board meeting yesterday to discuss Ecclestone's take-it-or-leave-it demand -- with the threat refusal will lead to the end to the world's oldest grand prix.
