Summary

IT'S been a big year for one of Britain's biggest motoring names - for the first time in Land Rover's 59-year history, sales have driven through the 200,000 barrier. The actual figure of 205,717 sales puts the company on course for its third successive record sales year, and several of Land Rover's global markets, including Russia, China, France and Spain, recorded their best-ever November. Watch the Land Rover space closely - early in 2008, the firm is to reveal a bold new design concept, one that will feature new technologies and lightweight material.

THE new Mini estate, the Clubman, is proving a huge hit in Britain. On sale for less than a month, most of the UK's Mini showrooms have seen their Clubman allocations snapped up. Mini enjoyed its largest-ever share of the UK market last month, at 2.59%, and November was also the third record sales month for Mini in 2007.
