LEADERS of Urdd Gobaith Cymru have good reason to be proud of the movement's progress over the past year, particularly as far as the three residential centres are concerned.

What is not realised by many is the fact that there is more to the Urdd than its highly successful National Eisteddfod, held during Whitsun week each year, an event that attracts around 15,000 competitors, and is estimated to inject around pounds 6m into the local economy where the eisteddfod is held.
