A CASH crisis is threatening to shut two museums in Caernarfon.

The Segontium Roman museum and fort on Beddgelert Road, which was opened in the 1930s, is facing imminent closure, as the trustees who run it say they can no longer afford the pounds 15,000-a-year needed to keep it open.
