RAIL passengers on the Northern Line face three weekends of disruption while new track is laid between Waterloo and Seaforth & Litherland.
Network Rail is spending pounds 1. 3m on replacing old track between the two stations with continuous rail to make train journeys smoother and quieter and reduce wear and tear on equipment. Preparatory work starts this weekend and the track will be closed for three weekends from January 29 to February 13.
