THE new coalition government completely overlooks one group of workers desperate for a job but thrown on the scrap heap, that is the over -50s.
We cannot get financial help because we have savings which are depleting and, despite the law, ageism does exist. Are we destined to never work again? Our one saving grace is the financial help the State Pension will provide. In my case, I have seven years till then.
