Summary
SOME birds under threat of dying out across Britain are making a comeback, according to a survey by the RSPB and the British Trust for Ornithology. Total bird numbers are now almost 10% higher than 10 years ago, helped by warmer winters and environmentally-friendly farming.
Species including chiffchaff, tree sparrow, greenfinch and whitethroat are showing strong signs of recovery, with large increases in some upland and wetland birds such as buzzard and little ringed plover.See the full content of this document
