ALAN OVERSON gave a display of raw power to win last week's five- mile race in the Melyd and Rhyl time trial series.

Overson, a member of both Rhyl CC and VC Melyd who jointly run the series, clocked 11 mins 12 secs to Llandyrnog and back, 40 seconds clear of the next rider Gerwyn Jones (Rhyl).
