THE pilot of a light aircraft which crashed into a Snowdonia mountainside, killing a passenger, was flying too low in poor weather, accident investigators revealed yesterday.

A detailed inquiry by the Air Accident Investigation Branch found the pilot planned to fly from Caernarfon Airport directly to Colwyn Bay and then to Shobdon Aerodrome, near Hereford.
