AMBULANCE managers and unions last night pledged to work together to resolve staffing and pay disputes after allegations the service was heading for crisis point.
The announcement followed an emergency meeting after union leaders claimed shortages had left stations unmanned, 999 calls were taking up to six minutes to answer and crews were going off sick with stress.See the full content of this document
