MORE than 30 schools across Cheshire could be using solar power under a pounds 1.2m scheme by the council.

The move is expected to reduce Cheshire West and Chester council's annual carbon dioxide emissions by 462 tonnes and save pounds 79,000 in electricity costs each year.
