VISITING from London, Huyton-born writer Anthony Quinn read from his debut novel The Rescue Man, set in Liverpool's Blitz. But the Bluecoat Centre's vocal audience soon turned the Q&A into knocking the council and Liverpool One. A "Mr Angry of Allerton" claimed the council has excelled Reichsmarshal Herman Goering's 1941 Liverpool replanning initiative. Visibly shaken, host Roger Phillips gasped: "But I thought everyone loved Liverpool One?"
