A MAJOR search and rescue operation was under way on the Mersey last night after a man was believed to have fallen overboard from his boat in Wirral.
The man had been dropped off at his boat, the Carol Anne, which was moored at Tranmere, by a friend around 11am and had been due to be picked up again around 2pm.See the full content of this document
