OH-OH, here comes another magazine that nobody needs, sneers Cynical Dave after he's been emailed a press release about a new publication aimed at models - as in catwalk-wigglers rather than 1/ 20 scale replicas of St Paul's Cathedral made from matchsticks.

Because if there's one thing that gets Cynical Dave's goat, it's models. This irrational hatred dates from Gap's ad campaign on TV in the late '90s when herds of stick-thin, beautiful young things would stand there in dungarees doing what comes naturally (acting dumb) in front of a dazzlingly white background while some Suzanne Vega clone sang about being battered soft in a block of flats.
