AFTER four years of training, a black-headed caique owned by a Flintshire couple has only learned the word "hello". But at this week's centenary show the monoglot bird was doing her best to distract customers at the Country Concept ladies fashion stand.
Sammy was kept out of view for most of the day but, as she craves human company, her cage was brought to the stand late each afternoon. Owner Pamela Bound, of Halkyn, insists Sammy is "noisy but nice" and is good for trade.See the full content of this document
