Summary
I FEEL if you are going to have a dinner party you must include a cheese course for many reasons - not least because as the host it's the time you can sit down and relax. And I would always serve the cheese before the pudding because I do not like the taste buds going from savoury to sweet and back to savoury.
It's also a good excuse to finish off the red wine or better still open another bottle. I find port too sweet but it's all a matter of taste as Susan, my wife, would happily have a port or three.See the full content of this document
