THE number of small business start-ups has fallen in every region of the UK with the exception of Wales.
Figures from Barclays Bank show UK start-ups fell during the first quarter of 2005 to 116,300 from 129,500 last year while the number of Welsh start-ups remained constant at 6,100All other regions of the country, with the exception of London and the north west of England, showed double-digit percentage drops in new ventures.See the full content of this document
