THE manager of one of North Wales's largest stately homes was sacked after being suspected of stealing two mediaeval helmets, a tribunal heard yesterday.
The helmets were sold through the London auction house Bonham's but Simon Dawson, who had been in charge at Mostyn Hall in Flintshire since 2004, claimed he had been given them by the sister of Lord Mostyn, who died in 2000.See the full content of this document
