A GROUP of Prescot Cables supporters took a step into the unknown when they formed a management committee to take over the running of the club after former chairman, Ted Mercer, retired at the end of last season. The supporters set about raising finances through sponsorship and donations during the close season and with the help of the UniBond League and the FA, the club has seen the first three months of the season successfully through.
Like other clubs at this level, a tight playing budget was set and Andy Gray, in his first season as a manager, has worked wonders within those financial constraints.See the full content of this document
