DIVISION ONE leaders Skelmersdale United saw their lead at the top reduced to only two points when they surprisingly crashed 2-0 at home to lowly Glossop North End.

In front of a healthy 248 spectators, United turned in one of their poorest displays of the season. This was the first time they had failed to find the net at home in a league fixture since moving into their new ground more than two years ago.
