Survey 'Revolt' Over Cost of Games

Summary


ALMOST two-thirds of the public are opposed to the cost of the 2012 Olympics and would rather see the cash spent on tax cuts or public services, according to a poll.

The YouGov survey for the TaxPayers' Alliance found 44% of people think the stated pounds 9.35bn cost would be put to better use in schools and hospitals.
