TALKS aimed at resolving the bitter row over jobs which sparked wildcat strikes by thousands of contract workers were adjourned last night and will resume tomorrow.

Union officials and employers met for more than five hours at a central London hotel in an attempt to end the deadlocked dispute about jobs at the Lindsey Oil Refinery, in North Lincolnshire.
