TEACHERS are facing the axe after a new school opened and it's emerged there aren't enough pupils to go round.

Staff at Ysgol Penmorfa and Ysgol Bodnant in Prestatyn got letters yesterday warning them there was a risk of job cuts. Denbighshire council's education department says falling pupil numbers are to blame.
