BRITISH prospect Miles Kasiri secured a promising position in his semi-final clash with Scoville Jenkins by claiming the first set 7- 6 (7/5) before the match was cut short by rain.

The Kent junior -- Britain's last remaining hope at Wimbledon and the first home player to reach the last four of the boys' singles in 10 years -- will resume the contest against his doubles partner today.
