IF you missed the Christmas extravaganza Scrooge, starring Tommy Steele at Liverpool's Empire Theatre, don't be disheartened. The family favourite finishes its run in Liverpool tomorrow but on Monday begins a three week stint at The Lowry, Manchester.
Tommy Steele and the rest of the cast take up residence there over Christmas and on until January 7. Tommy has made the role of, Ebenezer Scrooge his own, in Bill Kenwright's fantastical musical version of Charles Dickens classic tale A Christmas Carol. The show has stunning sets, costumes, specially created illusions by magician Paul Kieve, acclaimed for magic effects in the Harry Potter films, and a musical score which features the Oscar nominated hit Thank You Very Much.See the full content of this document
