I FEEL compelled to point out certain factors which contradict the Government law on animal movement post foot and mouth, and on the shambles of the fallen stock collection scheme.
To leave dead animals to rot on fields is illegal (as well as immoral), but to have dead animals rotting on your yard (once you have informed the FS scheme) is legal. The six day rule is meant to curb disease outbreaks, but how can the Government justify enforcing it when so much disease is breeding in the carcasses rotting on North Wales farms, let alone being transported across the country?See the full content of this document
