A NEW railway station waiting room has to be locked when it rains because it floods. Passengers must take refuge in the old, cold waiting room at Seaforth and Litherland station.
Dr Iain Frew, from Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, complained about the "fair weather" shelter. He said passengers had to wait in the old room, which had no door. Drainage problems have caused the new, heated shelter to flood.
