GREEN-FINGERED pupils are preparing for a trip to the woods to plant 1,000 oak trees in Corwen.

Youngsters from four Denbighshire primaries including Ysgol Glyndyfrdwy, Ysgol Caer Drewyn (Corwen), Ysgol Llandrillo and Ysgol Gwyddelwern will take part in the major conservation project.
