SOME time ago David Cameron & co awarded the pounds 1.4 billion contract to build new trains for the London underground to Siemens the German manufacturer.
His words were "it is the best value for the British taxpayer". Given the fact that 1,500 jobs in Derby at the Bombardier train factory may go, the revenue from the redundant work force and the benefits that will be paid out, was it really the best deal for the British taxpayer.See the full content of this document
